¿Did Spain deserve to win Euro2008?

Unfortunately yes. I have been a been a fan of the German national team ever since youth, even though I live in the U.S. Spain truly overpowered Germany in the final, I really wouldnt have been surprised if the score turned out to be 3-0 the way Germany played yesterday. Well hopefully my American brothers can qualify for the 2010 world cup, and I know Germany will qualify. Be ready for us in 2010.

I was hoping for a more exciting game...it was just that one goal by Fernando Torres, # 9, that pushed Spain to the championship. A win is a win--- so in that sense, I guess they "deserved" it. But I'm sure Deutschland players worked just as hard as those Spanish futbolistas. They did do better ultimately though.

why didin't? They played undefeatable all along the Euro 2008 tournament. (defeated Greece (Euro 2004 winner), Sweden, Italy (World Cup 2006 winner), Russia (twice), and Germany (favourite winner). TOP for Spain's perfect victory!

They did.They had a great opening match against Russia in which they completly dazzled them with their superior skill... They held on fiercely against Sweden to score an amazing final goal.... The substitutes of the Spaniard team managed to come from behind in a good win...They held on against the defending World Champions and the famous Italian Chokehold tactic. Even though they passed on in penalties, Casillas showed they deserved to go on with two penatly blocks, something rarely seen in the sport.... They dazzled the Russians once again, showing their defensive superiority by completly shutting down Arshavin... And they just dominated a good Germany and drove them to madness during the final 20 minutes of the match...

They were by far the best team

if u ask me, id say no. its just a lucky goal. and they're not that strong. they made a lot of fouls too. the goal isnt fair because torres pushed lahm away. and win is a win. so, congrats to the spaniards. but for me, germany is the winner. the ref is just stupid.

Yes - This is the only team that had NOT lost a single game , either in the Group nor in the Knock out stage. They beat Russia twice comprehensively. They are a worthy winners.
