http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/euro_2008/article4231114.ecewhen epl teams were dominating the champions league, he sated epl was snatching all the good players and throwing money around ruins good sportsmanship but its alright if madrid throws hundreds of millions of pounds around?( btw, i am not english. i am not even white but platini is a very biased person and for fifa to give him such a position is unacceptable.)aren't you a liverpool fan?lol hannah take it easy.

He's a jealous little mug, like you say it's the Italians and Spanish that have always handed out obscene amounts of money but he always picks on us, him and sepp Blabbermouth are a disgrace to their positions they're supposed to be neutrals and should be making decisions for the good of football, not constantly attacking the English. shame he doesn't brush up on his country's history to realise if it wasn't for us he'd be a German.

no, most of the things he says make sense. don't compare just snippets of what he said on different occasions. Man Utd cried foul because Ronaldo wants to leave and complained to fifa; Platini says Real Madrid done nothing wrong and can buy him if they can afford him, fair enough. this doesn't contradict with what he said about modern game being driven by money more than sportsmanship, and I think we can all agree that he's right about that too. it's natural I guess for the English people to get defensive, but the only argument they can come up with is "why only us?", so his words are hitting a nerve and they know he has a point, they just want him to criticize us too. he also said AC Milan shouldn't have played in the CL and neither should Porto, but I don't see the Italians or Portuguese whining about that.

Platini wants to bring in the 5 foreign player rule in European competition to mess up the English Premiership teams which have alot of imported talent. He turns a blind eye to the likes of Madrid and Milan because he gets treated like a king when he visits those clubs, they provide him with truffles and pretty women to comb his hairpiece and massage his legs with fine oils.He hated that English clubs (and Glasgow Rangers) did well in Europe this year as he despises the british way of life and the pies that get served.

yes. im starting to hate him despite liking him in in the past.what you said is true, and it was exactly what i was thinking a few mins ago. not that we really care if ronaldo goes. but to be biased regarding the matter, condemning when english clubs do something, while backing up others when they do the same thing, is totally unacceptable. if he thinks the football played by clubs outside england are better, well, they certainly weren't last season for sure. i bet he had a difficult time accepting that. plus i'm glad to see france crash out early from the Euros and of course, Italy too, just to bite him even more. i dont see football getting any better with the likes of platini being the head of FIFA. someone must really do something bout this.

Someone who nicknames himself imbecile, can't state his opinion about Platini.
