I got this Ipod from my friend and there's a lot of music and video that he put on it from his computer. Well I want to put my music and movies on it from my computer and it says something like that i have to delete everything off of it or something, i don't know. Someone help me out please.

it should give you the option to delete it all, except it says like erase. otherwise you should be able to go to the ipod page (unless you cant open until its deleted) and manually delete.

when u plug the ipod into your computer, on itunes go to the page where it shows the ipod and its memory, there should be a button that says restore and it should clear the ipod

OHH! STOP!I had The SAME EXACT probem as you.Ok, no, make sure that when you download the songs and videos that your Ipod is plugged in and the songs are getting downloaded to your ipod, then you have to "Sync" it.I pressed the sync button when my ipod wasent plugged in when i downloaded my songs and it deleted ALL my songs...all 97 of them.Hope it works

If you want to keep your friends music and videos, go to the ipod page where it gives you an ipod summary and click manually manage ipod, then just drag and drop music from your itunes library or playlist. if you have alot of stuff you want to drag and drop you can hold ctrl and click on all the songs you want to drag and drop.
