Are there any good "non-blockbuster" movies out there? -

I can't think of one film that was released as a huge blockbuster film, in America, that is even of decent quality let alone moderate to good quality. Most of those films are made for the sole purpose of making money, and that really shows when you actually watch a great, or even good, film. You're question is ridiculously ignorant. But if you want I can give a whole list of great American films.(Welles)Citizen KaneThe TrialChimes At Midnight(Kubrick)2001: A Space OdysseyBarry LyndonLolitaDr. Strangelove(Scorsese)Mean StreetsKing of ComedyRaging BullThe Last Temptation of ChristTaxi DriverGoodfellasAfter HoursThe Color of MoneyCasinoThe Age of InnocenceThe Departed(Tarantino)Never made a good film(Allen) as director, not necessarily actor, or writerBananaAnnie HallManhattanLove and DeathCrimes and MisdemeanorsHannah and Her SistersRadio DaysThe Purple Rose of CairoEverything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask)Broadway Danny RoseInteriorsThat's a rather short list, I could include the films of John Ford, or Ernst Lubitsch, Cecil B. DeMille, David Lean(if you want to include british films along with American), Charlie Chaplin, etc..., but that would take up a decidely large space. Please don't ask a question like this again.
