Like really, they're so strict. I'm 14 and you're allowed to go to the pool by yourself once you're 14. They call me every 30 minutes to make sure I'm there! EVERYTHING is when you're older, and I get older and it's raised. I HATE how when my friends are out late or at a party or on dates or getting piercing and tattoos I'm stuck not doing anything because I'm not allowed to. I'm not allowed to wear any type of clothing that shows anything, and while girls are wearing low shirts and shorts I'm not allowed to, and I know they're trying to protect me, but I just want to be a kid! I NEED to mess up on my own, even though I've already messed up enough. I really wish that they would let me do what normal teens do. I've gone into depression, mainly because they won't let me do anything. They don't want me to have a boyfriend or anything, and I've asked to go on birth control and they just won't let me. They want me to live like they did, and I really don't want to be a goody-goody. I want to do what normal teens do, and I hate that they won't let me live as a kid.i know they want to help, but i just hate it. what do i do?

Yeah it sucks. Start planning to go to college. Find a way, get good grades. Once you turn 18 you can get the hell out and enjoy that freedom.What they are doing is actually incredibly stupid unfortunately. If you smother your child and never allow them any responsibilities they will not learn how to make responsible and informed choices by themselves.A lot of very sheltered children end up going off the rails once they get to college because they have never had any opportunity to make sensible life choices for themselves because their parents were too controlling.

Not to be rude but you kinda messed up BIG time and I don't really think you need to be messing up anymore. You aren't going to be a "normal" teen being pregnant ya know.. You're going to have to be a mother, unless you are giving up your child for adoption. I think you should take your parents advice, 14 is way too young to be out getting piercings and tattoos and dating alone..
